Refco+eSignal+eMini's?

Anyone use Refco via their eSignal platform to trade eMini's? The integrated trading looks great to me, but are they all style and no substance?

I use Esignal with IB and there is a fundamental problem which Is likely to be the same for Refco - namely Esignal will not use the IB price feed. The ESignal/IB plug in enables me to initiate trades directly from an advanced chart, but the order-entry options are sparse in comparison to IB's native TWS front end and 'slippage' is more of an issue because the order is based on a non-IB feed. The upshot is that I use ESignal for charting/back-testing etc and TWS for order entry/management and have to pay exchange fees twice for the privilage - Not the best of solutions I guess, but the ESignal integrated trading module is no match for IB's own stuff - yet.

When I signed up to Refco (and was already with E-Signal), I spoke with the Refco rep about the integrated trading from e-signal.

Suffice to say, I was advised to avoid it, actually by Refco !

i think Lind Waldock is the futures trade division of Refco. I did not like esignal their customer service was of no help to me when picking a platform and data feeds.

I am using Strategy Runner now at Refco, retained E-Signal as my Data Feed, although Strategy Runner have a live feed also.

Very pleased with the platform.

I use Tradestation 8.1 by far the best I have seen. Certainly worth the money.

I have TS 2000i but use SR pro

if I were you I'd start looking for another broker , refco stinks ! they are donkeys.
