Hi - I'm looking for a broker that allows accounts from the UK that has good market coverage in the US, Europe and Asia (and won't rip me off for buying foreign equities!), and a decent range of trade options (eg trailing stop etc). At this stage I am only interested in equities and options, and have £10k.

From my own research, i thought barclays with the international trader platform looked good - but all reviews seem to HATE it. The other options I can see are Saxo/Guardian and IB, but again there seems to be bad reviews everywhere (I have looked and searched on this forum).

Can anyone offer me some advice?

Thanks

Andy

Yes, "alpari UK" is a good broker for UK traders. Even it also has some bad reviews. Don't go behind reviews because every broker has both bad and good reviews.

Firstly you make a list of brokers who are regulated with financial services authority or FSA. UK Forex brokers are regulated by this institution. This way you can cover your investment. after this you can analysis . every FSA broker has own specification and terms and conditions. For example some offer high leverage or some very low etc. you can easily differentiate according to your need.
