EBS/Reuters or Barclays/JP Morgan. Any real difference ?

Hey,

Soon i will be setting up something similar to a LLC and go to war directly through a Prime Broker. Is there any real benefit in using ICAP EBS Prime over Barclays Barx or JP Morgan Direct in terms of liquidity and pricing ?

Banks use EBS/Reuters to deal with each other in the interbank market and on their website ICAP states non-bank customers get ”optimal pricing and liquidity”, which they probably do. However, does this mean you get access to the same prices and liquidity as the banks or are you on a EBS-light version compared to the banks ?

Thanks,
