Broker Time & Price Differences

Hi,

I am wondering if anyone has researched this or experienced it but I found out today that a trade went against me and I had the opportunity lets say 10 secs to close my order as my own broker it was delayed meaning I could of taking a smaller loss or even broke even if I was quick enough 2 monitors will be needed.
