SIPP - Dealing in US shares

I have a UK SIPP but my current provider (E Trade) does not allow me to trade US shares.

I believe that it is possible to trade US shares in a UK SIPP and am looking for a firm that provides this facility.

Would be grateful for anyone who can name such firms. Thanks

https://www.idealing.com/ seem to offer this....look under "open an account"--"SIPP account". They certainly offer us shares.

try ig markets.com.they have just release a cfd sipp.you can trade uk and us equiities ona 65:1 margin.contact tim moriss at ig markets

I pretty sure you can do this via SippDeal using Comdirect as the broker.

Personally I trade US shares in my Sipp and E Mini Futures. Shares through ODL and futures thru Berkeley futures (whom I find very expensive) As far as I can tell Etrade are the only brokers who allow CFd's via a SIPP. (ODL tell me planning this 'one day'
