Trading the YM using the free feed and Sierra ($10 if commission less etc)
Shold I be able to get stocks as well, havn't subscribed to any other feeds.

Yet appear to have them is this correct, as do not want a sudden bill landing on me.

cheers in advance

It is correct.
US Securities & Commodities Bundle (Includes all Stock, Options, Futures and Bond markets) Free (USD 10.00 market data fee if less than USD 30.00 in commissions per month)

I am also considering IB for trading YM. Is there any additional charges for routing, modifying order, cancelling order, SEC fees, etc, etc??? Thanks for the help!

IB charge me $2.06 per side to trade the YM or ES, no extra charges.

If you want to trade European or Asian markets there is a small monthly fee for the data feed.

I have a question regarding IB.

If you elect for the account to be based in UK£ how does IB deal with the translation into US$ if one deals in US instruments. Do they charge anything for this and I assume you're just exposed to the US$ UK£ risk while the position is open. When it's closed I assume they would re-translate the transaction at whatever the rate is at the time the deal is closed. I've trawled through their web site but couldn't find anything on it.

Many thanks in anticipation.

.

Not exactly. When you close your first u.s. position your profit (loss) will show as a dollar credit ( or debit) balance, and your £ balance will show as unchanged. The dollar balance will continue to accumulate in this way until you convert them back to ££ on their 'IDEAL' exchange, which is executed like any other trade on TWS. No charge, just the bid-ask spread

Great! Thanks for the help! I can rest easy knowing there is no 'hidden' charges =)
