Hi,
Is income from daytrading as a living taxed as CGT? If so how much? If not how is this done? The information on the internet is rather mixed and sketchy and I am a bit confused at the moment as I have never run a business. Lastly, are there other ways to reduce your tax relief by using some kind of tax efficient structure?
Thanks,
Imran

CGT is payable on the profit above your annual personal allowance if you are trading CFD's, options or shares. The rate depends on your income tax rate from other sources.

No tax is payable if you are spreadbetting.

I have recently found an article which says that GGT can be reduced using 3 different ways. First, you should live in your property before you rent it out. Second, you need to buy property using the right tax structure. And the last thing is that you need to put your profits into superannuation. I think that the first two options are pretty reasonable and can help you. But in my opinion the best choice would be to visit ...... and analyze their services. This company has experienced tax specialists who know everything about the GGT and its specifications.
