We are MIT graduate students doing research about the binary option market, and would be grateful for your help in taking our survey here: https://mit.co1.qualtrics.com/jfe/form/SV_5BTQJxlo16J51Fc

As compensation for your participation, you will be entered into a lottery to win: one $1000 prize, one $500 prize, three $100 prize, and several smaller prizes, all in Amazon gift cards. The survey poses some background questions and asks about your preferences; it takes about 10-15 minutes to complete.

The survey has been reviewed by the MIT Institutional Review Board (couhes@mit.edu). If you have any questions, please contact binary_option_survey@mit.edu.

Is this for real? Binary options have been banned in the UK for some time - (and rightly so). Don't know whether they are used in other parts of the world much either.
I see you've tried to get people to complete this survey over quite a long period of time, which also seems a bit odd.

Yes, this is real. They are allowed in other parts of the world. We ran a survey a few years ago and we are running an updated survey now.

Exactly - in part we want to understand how the space has changed (if at all) in the past few years.
We'd really appreciate survey participation!

It is highly unlikely that anyone visiting this site would be stupid enough to trade binaries. If you had asked 5 to 6 years ago you may have got a few responses but now everyone knows they are nothing more than a scam. Even the scammers realise that they have been rumbled and have stopped promoting them and moved on to promoting scam crypto currencies instead.
