Hi to all!
We are WaitForTrade, a two-people team carrying a significant wealth of system trading knowledge, with hundreds of thousands of software code lines.

For trading, we use our service based on machine learning technologies of recognition similar days.
You can support our developments on Patreon and we give you full access to Similar Days project.

In our journal, we publish interesting scenarios, according to which we open trades and their development on the following day.
Given the limited resources, we run a trading strategy that requires minimal attention to test the practical utility of the proposed instrument, as follows:
  • At about 00:00 am PT, we update the forecasts for the new day, and select the most targeted or with a good risk-to-profit ratio and open orders using them until the end of the day.

At the moment, we are using Oanda (fractional lots, convenient mobile interface). The plans: public futures trading on a real account.

Looks pretty cool! Do you assign different weights when you compare days? For example, taking into consideration whether or not there are economic releases on a day and so on?

We would like to realize this in the future.
There is a problem of seasonality, it is not enough to simply indicate the day and what news was there, since the trading session starts on one day and ends on another.
And where can we get a list of all important news for 10 years? Do you know?

You can get this from Bloomberg. Think you need to get Bpipe for this, but not sure. I would only include scheduled/recurring releases though ;)
