CMT(Chartered Market Technician) or CFT(Certified Financial Technician)

I believe to have a CMT designation and be a member of MTA you need to be already working in the field for a few years. You can't just take the tests and get a CMT designation.

Thank you very much Peter - as per MTA we can do the tests and complete all 3 levels, however you can use the "CMT charter" after your name only when you have the respective 2/3 years of relevant experience.

I would like to know the differentiation between the two - knowledge and value/acceptance in the TA career world.
