AIM stocks v FTSE 350... ..(UK basics)

hi, in terms of uk trading.
AIM stocks are for 3 to 5 year investing mostly?
AIM stocks more risky?
FTSE more safe?
Where are the most opportunites for moeny making? Its in AIM stocks isnt it?

micro cap = AIM?
small cap and micro cap just means LITTLE CAPITALISATION FOR THE COMPANY??
eg. less than £3 million...........
