    Trade at any time

Which entirely fails to answer the question, which I thought was quite an interesting one.

    In scalping

Using leverage one might well work with larger position sizes. A scalper would be looking for a quick profit, and should cut a loss very quickly, thus minimising risk and allowing larger positions . In my case a minute would be average, a couple of seconds sometimes.

ART - not just pretty pics

I loved the clip in Crocodile Dundee (which I can't find a link to sorry) where... Art Expert admiring spotty disaster in the Tate exclaims " Jackson Pollock ". Paul Hogan happens to be standing next to him for a moment replies " Nah it's not that bad mate"

If you knew the exact date of a black swan event...

If your black swan is a sure thing at a definite date, then buying puts which have a strike price far out of the money and an expiry which is asap after your swan event would be the way to go. They would cost a few pennies and should sell for big bucks each. If it all goes wrong then your loss...

    Anyone scalping the FTSE Futures??

Piphoe I for one find your posts very valuable. It takes two views to make a market and it’s great to know which way you are playing the YM. Obviously coming from across the water you finger should be on the pulse so much more than over here, and the prodigious number of trades you have...

    Anyone scalping the FTSE Futures??

IMO piphoe and FXX and tokyojoe are all clearly fine traders. Postman it seems does his best without the necessary news feed. This caused him to get it wrong on at least one occasion in the last year, a fate which may possibly have befallen me once or so in my career. Good, glad to have...
