Anybody or should i say any bears, think it could touch 10600/700 in the next few months. I was just wandering about head and shoulders formation on a six month.

market is taking you in that direction now. we have come off 50point within minutes.

Yes the futs have tanked from 945 to 880 - looks like a test of support at 875 is on at the very least......

and of course there's that gap to 830, but to fill that now would mess up the geometry a bit..

damned inconsiderate........

It does sort of spoil the breakout we had on Friday if we were to close below 10850 region!

Like I was saying 12,000, 13,000. No lets get to 11,000 first.

It seemed like a full gone conclusion but it doesn't seem 100% now!

Interesting stuff, very interesting!

well thankfully apart from yesterdays -20 i havent had a main trade on the Dow as yet..

and me unloading 500,000 contracts...


depends on the size of the gap down we get..

if it is -50 or greater, then we could be looking at 10800 today...


if less, then a turn up into thursday/friday from 10840 would do me..

I am really wondering if the top of 10970 region has been made....

Could this be it. I reckon so. This is not the normall sort of action that you would like to see just after a breakout occurs. Last few days have been poor and today could we see a sell-off which could lead us back to the breakout levels. If that happens the breakout could well be nullified and that would definately mean the top is made!

Interesting action!

Good job I moved up my stop tight on the ftse, took 25 points.
I go away for 45 mins, its tanked. What happened?
This morning I was thinking ,damn skaken out of my long on the dow now watch it take off. Not now!

but also the 'Beige Book' report at 19.00gmt with be perused for 'interesting' comments.

Notable that they've taken the price down to the lower support line of the speculative bull flag which just about coincides with the previous support level of 875ish...

but I've seen the a*se drop out of bull flags before, so none of this is set in stone.....

in fact it reserves the right to be quite flexible......
