Definition: An index of the 100 largest international and domestic non-financial businesses listed on the NASDAQ exchange, based on market capitalization.

The Nasdaq 100 is also known as the QQQQ, or prior to its movement from the American Stock Exchange to the NASDAQ in December 2004, the QQQ. It is often referred to as the 'cubes', and is an index tracking stock.
