Definition: The world's largest futures and options exchange and is jointly operated by Deutsche Börse AG and SWX Swiss Exchange.

Its electronic trading platform provides access to a broad range of international benchmark products including a full range of interest rate, equity index, exchange traded funds and stock option products.

Interest rate products cover the German yield curve from one month to thirty years and the Swiss yield curve from eight to thirteen years. Eurex's flagship contract is the Euro Bund Future.

In 2004, Eurex entered the US markets with the launch of Eurex US futures exchange and clone contracts of the five, ten and thirty year US bond futures. Recent additions include index futures for the Russell 2000 and 1000 indices.
