Ascending triangle

From Traderpedia

A sideways chart pattern between two converging trendlines in which the lower line is rising while the upper line is flat.

The Ascending triangle is a form of Continuation Pattern and just as with its cousins, the Descending triangle and the Symmetrical triangle they indicate a point at which the stock or index is 'resting' or consolidating before breaking out and continuing with its prior trend.
