Definition:
A short-term move against the current long-term trend, i.e. a pull-back in an upward trend or bounce in a downward trend.


The highest (lowest) point before the reaction and the lowest (highest) points of the reaction represent short-term support/resistance which may be -- or may not be -- significant later.
