Revision as of 15:06, 1 November 2009Post pool lulz here, with chronology: ConfessionGood morning, One doesn't start a pool for no fee without an overwhelming desire to help people, or, to make money by theft and fraud. I have known Paul and some others through t2w for a few years now and would like to believe in that time, and that coupled with the fact I am still here, answering mails and not legged it, that you would have thought I fell into the former category. The problem with this approach, is when one fails after such a good run, he doesn't want to be the bearer of bad news, let people down and fail for all who had such high hopes. Ego falls into the equation too an I won't deny that after everything, that also helped in my downfall. I am scum, I'll happily admit it, as Oliver pointed out prior, good intentions lie upon the road to hell (or something similar) and ever since the peak of the account (which did happen, I don't even own photoshop, all I changed were the account numbers), it has been a downward spiral in my trading, my life and the pool. 15 years on and off, and right now, the markets are making absolutely no sense to me whatsoever. I messed up, over leveraged, over traded and lost virtually everything. The 50% max drawdown rule was ignored as I didn't want to fail and let people down and since then over the last 5-6 weeks all I have done is di myself into a deeper whole, lieing to buy time to try and repair the mistakes made and the losses incurred. I have been trying my hardest to trade all hours and recoup what I lost as the markets, personal and other problems ruined my judgment and abilities. Hotch was right, I blew up and have been trying to climb back out and whilst there are no excuses for my behaviour, only reasons, you have all the right in the world to proceed with whatever action you so wish for my lies, deceit and pretending to make repayments as there is not enough to repay all investments, and to Nic too, but I never made fraudulent statements to raise more capital, nor is there any future ventures in my life that will involve others money. Over the last 6 weeks, I have failed, and I just didn't have the guts to admit it. Despite all this, Paul's idea of perhaps a group debt collection action for the investments made, which I owe you all, as the losses beyond the worst case scenario of £2500 per share were my fault entirely, to which I hold my hands firmly up for, could be retracted through an agency, per contracts, and I will repay the agency, over a time which I can. That much I owe you all. I may be guilty of many things throughout this, but I am not a crook, I just failed and didn't want to admit it, every day hoping today I would be able to make good of the money I assured I could repay. You will not understand how bad I feel for letting people down this way as I started all this to help people, not for profit, but, unfortunately I am not even close to the trader I hoped I was and can no longer continue trying to climb out this hole. I can only apologise sincerely and profusely for my failure, lies and lack of payments. I never wanted this mail to happen or to not achieve goals, but I have to admit I can not achieve what I wanted as it is unfair on you all. Only 4 people received their investments back as that was all I had spare at the time which came to a total of £1000. If I had the money, I would not be answering mails and not paying, this is no fun for me nor you. If the debt repayment agency idea will not work, then I shall endeavour to make back the funds lost and repay all as an when I can earn it. I will leave it in your hands to take whatever actions you feel necessary. As said before, I only had good intentions throughout, and still do, I just didn't account for being such a failure. Yours ashamedly, Pre stuff=14 May 2009: Good morning all, My apologies as I seem to have lead some into confusion. The eventual decision was, I would update thoroughly and detailed per usual as some want the statements, some the educational charts but instead of the bi-weekly reports as before, I will be sending the full reports out on the 1st of each month as this allows me more free personal time. I trust this is acceptable with all and sorry for not clarifying this with everyone as I thought I had. The move to ODL was smooth and problem free and things have been much better for it too. I have included a chart to give you a rough outline of the action of late from my perspective. The thing I'm sure you all want to know is how much your 'shares' are worth! Current account value stands at £30,110. Thus each is worth £666(!) at the moment (only roughly. Those who bought in from the start have a slight increase on the later buy-ins). This is all 100% on target (of course!) and a nice steady, solid increase with original targets still in sight as planned. I am finished for the week now so any mails I will catch up with Sunday night/Monday. Have a good week everyone! Cheers, 16 May 2009: Good morning all, To bring everyone up to a speed, here is a little mini update; Last update valued at £30,110. Since then, I have sold two new shares at current share value at £699, one slight less and one slightly more (don't ask!) than the other at the time, and taken on one new investor. this will not reduce anyone's values, the projections, eventual returns or risk factors as purchased at current share price... ish! current account value now at £31,513. Each share is thus worth now = £700 (approx. > taking into account the 2nd week later buy-ins are slightly less).
1: The current excel with risk and reward shown, marked to show current status and worst case scenario risk projections, easily and quickly seen and understood. 2: Also, each update will be with a template for Alpari metatrader on the 30min (indicator needed on there for it too make sense) rather than singular charts. These will show the trades taken. For further education and to see what I am progressing too, my ongoing self education can be followed additionally on my blog. (*key below). 3: End of week statements detailing results.
DB/DT: Double top/double bottom HrL/LrH: Higher Low / Lower High SB: Swing High/Low break SAR: Stop And Reverse
Kind Regards,
Somewhere along the line, we lost 20k. Not sure how and when but I think with the new additions and my slight risk reductions, it vanished. Therefore, I have tweaked the rest of the years risk slightly, and we are back to the original projections, with the risk still only just a tad over 50%, and the worst case scenario still currently over £100 more than original share value. See attached. Good weekend everyone, 5 June 2009: Dave, I kindly went out of my way to make arrangements for you to get out against the contract as fast as possible with the same day chaps. Your desperation for the money is not my concern but as this has nothing more to do with you, I won't question why you really needed the money so quick and the reason you need now cover the fact with these pointless mails. They serve no purpose other than to make you look worse and just why I would shoot myself in the foot by conning people for a few thousand and ruin my career, hedge fund and reputation like this is the bizarest notion. Please remove the group email addresses and stop covering for your mistake.

I’m not sure about the rest but somehow, that doesn’t quite feel very comfortable :-/

Not sure but that sounds about right, can't imagine ODL are giving me money! I had to beg for that statement too! They don't usually do them apparently so must have been knocked up by someone in the back office just for me!

Just one remark, your account seems to grow by itself but eh… if you add all the trade results to the opening balance is doesn’t quite add up with the ending balance! Unless I’m missing something if I add all settlement losses & profits it shows 47720.64 instead of 49580.63…
Either ODL is being very generous, or I’m missing something :-) Perhaps this has something to do with the fact that if you check may Statement 1.pdf the last line is the exact same as the 5th from below. Somehow that doesn’t seem right, it has the same voucher & trade reference code?

Good morning, Fresh off the press, well, out of my inbox this morning...! Have a good week all...
Chris Williams l Yen specialist & wealth management FLOW CAPITAL LTD http://flow-capital.com http://thetradingnomad.blogspot.com +44(0)7896009139 twitter: tradingnomad skype: chrisgwilliams1 29 October 2009:
Over this weekend I have done some serious thinking and even more detailed analysis and also chatted with Mark/ceydababy and I have come to some conclusions and made a few decisions and realised a few home truths as he has too I believe. When I started this, it was my own choice and never asked, nor would I ask for a penny in payment (but won't say no to a floatplane naturally) and also, during, I did contemplate the starting of a hedge fund to go forward with. During this early period of the pool, we had Dave, kindly start the con theory, and I felt obliged for all to protect the pools best interests, and still do, by covering and starring account numbers and making changes to trick them. Looking back, I can see how everyone would expect me to start saying quack at some point what with changing skypes, and the statement issues, plus, my erratic behaviour, the London episode, stalling and constant gripes about fair treatment, what with this being a favour 'n all. Some of you have known me on t2w for years, others, months, all through various chatrooms, t2w, skype and the forum I started. As Marks Aunt (the largest 'investor' at £3850) and another member have said to Mark though, 'just where is scam the benefit for me?' I will be the first to admit I am probably THE worst administrator, fund manager / money manager you have and will EVER meet, no denying that and my skills could probably get surpassed by a 3 year old. I am far from professional but what exactly did you expect from a tequila fiend with a nurafen problem? Can you imagine though, if you will, you start a small pool to make all some money in kindness, which escalates, partly due to others and also myself in the 2:1 offer and once receiving all the money (£20'900 total input), staying the distance and trading it for 7 months; working weekends, being around for chatrooms, and then putting up with Dave (and his little followers Genics and Masq), and then firewalker and all the forum crap, to still be here, at the other end of the email, or phone, or skype, if you were really conning people? There are about 9 members who cannot see the logic in any of this, and I cannot see how anyone can think there is anything untoward going on? I am here, I put up with all this online, I sacrifice weekends and yet, here I am, not off in a non extradition country sipping pina coladas. Please, take 5 minute to look at the attached. As you will see, the long hard slog is done and we are into the last 7 weeks and, whilst I don't profess to be guaranteeing a 150k ROI per share, the value will increase exponentially from here as money makes money and its these last 2 months that truly count. In an ideal world, everyone will be happy to receive back their varying inputs over the next few days, and either assume I have blown up or, have faith in their original judgements, make like it is over to all outside and let me finish the last part of what we are so close too. I regret many things over this last year but this is one thing I will not let be on that list and with this arranged, we can all make some decent money to finish this off as I am not stopping, and neither are 5 other members. For the sake of a risk free trade, I urge you to think this through, and stay the distance, as come 11th December, you will not be disappointed, and I will still be here, my reputation restored, my account open for all to view, and us all better off. I do have an apology to make though, as I have assured you all of money that has not arrived. Whilst no excuse, none of you actually needed the money of course as were expecting to be the 10th December per agreement originally, but anyhow, I cannot deny that I have not made any more payments than those already received. Once I decided to finish this and not let Dave screw it up, I put all bar the original investments back into DK. Not part of the final plan per chatzy I know (but, when was the last time any of this was part of the agreement anymore), and with leftover, and some of own excess, finish of the 'original inputs' so all risk free, but, needed time to think and properly plan, asses and decide what's best for you, me; us. My decision being the above (risk free, 7 weeks, inputs back, have some faith). It is my nieces 4th birthday today so I will not be about till the afternoon. I hope you can see past Dave's paranoia and don't let one fat twat ruin it and your common sense will prevail... I know I won't let him ruin my crowning glory and something I have worked so hard for, in the words of young Phillips ancestors, I'll take the high road. All things considered, and realising I would have to be the worst conman ever as still here, I suggest you stick with the chance you took 7 months ago and wait another 7 weeks, the police will still find me then too. Good trading, Chris
PS: I strongly suggest the lack of Internet time (I have removed and banned myself from all forums) plus minimal skype and emails (I will hopefully meet up with Mark and anyone else interested mid week somewhere in the middle of us all.) PPS: I also recommend you forgo the original plan of statements, templates, charts, updates, chatrooms et al as the less online the better. PPPS: There are no more pools no funds nor am I soliciting for more money as 1) bulldozers dynamic HF was a joke as he detests t2w and 2) If the pool, or the 2:1 deal was my finale, I would have flown. PPPS: If the police knock on my door later, I'll take it you don't agree! |
