Definition:
The price at which you BUY.


The offer price (also referred to as the 'Ask' price) is the price at which one can purchase a given size of an instrument at any moment. It is usually greater than the Bid price.

[edit] Example

Vodafone shares are quoted at 100p (50,000)- 100.5p (100,000) The offer price is 100.5p and 100,000 shares are available at this price.
