ok looks like i'll hv to revise my previous review.

i still think its a very impressive platform - but hvng bn running QCharts and RT at the same time I noticed that RT's feed lags real-time quite significantly on sharp moves.

It is definitely an RT's problem - as I hv bn using same Quote.com feed for both QC and RT.

I will keep my RT subsciption - c'mon its a brilliant value for money - but only as a secondary charting platform.

I have used this software for only 3 weeks but already am appreciating its power and flexibilty.

Its plain appearance can be misleading as it is a very sophisticated program which works across MS and Apple platforms and has the ability to accept a number of different datafeeds

Its not my first charting software having used Sharescope eod. Updata TA (Realtime) and (briefly) esignal rt and sierra. The support and service seems excellent and I have been getting replies to email queries wihin an hour or so.

There is extensive instructive material on the website and a helpful users group.

Linnsoft is a small concern and the personal touch is very evident and is a welcome change.

I have not as yet tried its backtesting facilities.

I would recommend it without hesitation but perhaps not as a first package.

quite amazing platform

I just started dabbling with this software (I am still a QCharts boy :) ) but so far I am impressed. not the easiest for newbies but with LOADS od useful tools

I have used it for some 2 years (I think I was first in UK) after using Updata.

The range of functions is steadily growing, and it is exceptionally easy to either use existing indicators or write your own indicators, scans etc.. In fact flexilbilty is the major virtue - you can do almost anything with it ,or if you can't , request it and if there is enough support from others you will find it in a later release.

Support is first rate with an active yahoo group and a number of UK users. New releases come out evry 2-3 months with interim upgrades more frequently.

The range of data feeds is very wide with further additions planned.

The programming language RTL is equivalent to simple logic with >=< and or * / used so it's very easy to write a simple (or not so simple) scan ..It has very pwoerful scanning facilities in real time or EOD which can either find shares meeting various criteria or identify trends on the shares you are tracking in realtime (down to tick charts).

Best I have used (Ensign, Sierra, Updata, Esignal etc)

Very good support and user group plus access to Linnsoft channel in mirc for on the spot advice
