Biography

Alan has over 30 years experience in the investment industry both as an investment manager and as a private investor and has collected “most of the t-shirts” along the way.
He started as an IFA (where he was instrumental in developing the first ever truly ‘portable’ pension in the UK) and for the past 20 years has managed Share portfolios and traded Commodity and Forex Futures. More recently Alan has been involved in developing the computerisation of Weinstein’s Technical Analysis formulae and with establishing the ShareHunterSelect service which identifies potential top-performing ‘breakout’ shares.
