Biography

John Forman is a near 20-year veteran of trading and investing across a wide array of markets and instruments, and a former professional analyst with experience covering forex, fixed income, equities, and commodities.  His analysis and market comments have been found in the financial news media across the world and he has published dozens of articles on trading methodology and analysis technique.

John is the author of the forthcoming book The Essentials of Trading: From the Basics to Building a Winning Strategy (Wiley, April 2006) and has recently started work on his newest book project, Trading with Fire, which explores how simple option strategies can be used in directional trading to increase trading profits.  He has spoken on trading and market related topics to numerous student groups and been a guest lecturer on several occasions.  In cooperation with a professor, he helped design and present a university level trading course. 

John is a principal of Anduril Analytics (www.andurilonline.com), where he is Managing Analyst and Chief Trader.  Anduril is focused on developing innovative financial markets educational opportunties and research.  It's flagship product, the Anduril Trading Report, actually presents real-life, real-money analysis and trade decision-making as executed in the management of the Anduril Trading Portfolio.

Forman joined the Trade2Win staff in April 2005, taking on the position of Content Editor.  In that role he directed the content development process for the site, especially in regards to the Knowledge Lab and associated features.
