CFD Trading - Man Financial

CFD trading customers at Man Financial have two options when it comes to transacting orders. This can either this can be done in the traditional phone broking manner where orders are executed by a small friendly and helpful CFD team or on-line by using the touch system, (available since the acquisition of GNI by the Man Group). Both approaches have worked well for me as the on-line platform provide real-time level 2 prices, news and charting but I am also able to call up the CFD desk to discuss strategies.. obviously after results, trade figures etc when the prices are flying around is not really the time to try and corner one of the dealers for a leisurely chat but most of the time they are more than happy to discuss ideas, market gossip. On the flip side, Man is not the cheapest, charging on average 0.25% per transaction with a min deal size of £20,000 (but there is some flexibility here) but I liked their strong balance sheet (some $4bn) which was one of my major contributing influences when deciding on a broker.
