I need a basic software package to get started on.

For the moment, I just need to do simple technical analysis - moving averages and the like - while I learn.

Can anyone recommend a good, low-cost, easy-to-learn package?

hello bunster!

You can go for Kerford Investments - easy to use trading software, low cost. You can also easily learn technical analysis with that software...

Why pay - download any free demo MetaTrader and you have enough to play with until you've blown all your demo money!

Have you tried the advanced charts provided free by IG if you have an account with them? They seem to work for me.

Cheers!

Forgot to add that ProRealTime also have free video tutorials to help you.
