I can only get my 2000i to work to 3 decimal places on both FX and Futures contracts of FX. It only gives Tracking Center orders to 3 decimal places, and consequently missed a trade last week.
Is this normal ? or am I doing something wrong
I started with these settings in global server
price scale 1/10000, min movement 1 , Big Point value tried lots of different values, have tried lots of different values for the the other 2 as well
I have tried setting data as both forex and then futures in the global server.

i don't do FX at the mo.. however i believe you need to download an up grade for TS2Ki before it will run FX pairs correctly

version 5.00.0707
I do not know if it is a problem with currencies particually, it is just that it is only currencies that I have come across that are quoted to 4 decimal places.
Everything works as normal except only to 3 decimal places.

Well it will not do any harm to upgrade to the last version which you can find here:

ftp://ftp.tradestation.com/PUB/updates/

Go for 2000i Update SP5

Also as you can see I am able to chart to 4 decimal places with no issues and I will have a think about the settings as it may well be to do with that.

hi Paul,

the only reason i mentioned a possible requirement for a download, was because when I tried to load FX pairs into Globleserver before, i had to get a hyperserver guy to do it for me, part of the process he went through was downloading a bit a software of TS site for FX in Globleserver.

not sure if this is the problems tho

I have just realized that my 2000i works to 3 decimal places with everything.
Cotton, Gas Oil and Brent Crude are plotted to 3 decimal places although the last place is a zero because the data is to 2 decimal places. It works out stop orders to 3 decimal places as well
