I plan to post it all, complete and without doubt. The good, bad and ugly - whatever.

I've been a demo wizard for 8 months and just now put $500.00 on the line for all to see - - - - - -I am looking for help so please, don't be shy. I not only wish to keep a record for myself, I am also needing to learn! Be assured that from here on out, the only trades I make will be with my real money.

I am only looking to make 1% or 2% or more percentage points each time I trade, and since I work full time, there may be days between trades.

Whatever happens, I will post a screen shot after or prior to my next trading session.

My primary trading preference is the spot Forex - the EUR/USD.

I'm not much for live calls - I have a hard enough time trading lol

I trade what I think is WITH the trend, which till now is obliviously, down.

Since I am only shooting for 1 or 2 percent per trading day, I surpassed my goal and am EXTREMELY happy lol - - - -now, if I can just keep this going lol.

I'm not out to fool anyone, I well know most of us lose our asses and I am going to show my losers same as winners - - with the hope that folks will help with their comments and not crucify me for being a loser.

Thanks to all!

Scalped a few more bucks, made over 6% - I'll watch for other opportunities but as of now, I am done for today.

Good job so far. You are starting small, appear to have a plan, and are open to some critique/suggestions. Good elements of a winning strategy!

Peter

Made just over 1% - price is jumping around too much to hold, I'm happy to be out with a gain.

Pretty sure I got out early, but at one point I was as much as $19.35 in the hole and at another point I was up $9.00.

Close enough to 1% gain for me - and if I would have made a few more bucks if I would have gotten filled at the prices shown when I closed the trades.

I was up .5 pips when I closed the first trade but they filled me at a 1.1 pip loss.
I was down 3.5 pips when I closed the second trade but they filled me at a 4.8 loss.

So much for no commissions ha ha.

Looking good so far!! The only thing I can see that might be a problem is where you are trading 10 units (micro lots?) you might be overextending your leverage just a bit. Not being critical here, just throwing in my 2 cents.

Well done

Peter

Thanks Pete!
Can tack on about another 2% :) I was up almost 5% but decided to bail on the pop - -it's past my bed time :)

Yes, it's a micro account......I am almost always scaling in and usually scale out as well......so far it's been working.

I had some issues with the FXCM platform freezing tonight so I just got out of this trade (I scaled in to 35 micro lots and scaled out between platform freezes.)

Just took another +1%.
Off to work now but I finished off the session up over 3%.

I came close to scaling in and adding to my position a few pips higher than my first entry, but never pulled that trigger.

I had to really manage this trade - if it weren't for slippage, I would have made about $15.00 - as it is, I am finding that the slippage sucks bad.

I could have exited the trade a few minutes after I entered it and made over 1% - but Noooo, I tried to "let my winner run" - WHICH DON'T WORK TRADING COUNTER TREND!

I scaled in to a max position of 60 micro lots and got out with just over 1/2% profit - and am happy about that lol.

Dumbest trade I made all week.

Lesson learned!

Peter

Yep!

All in all, I did ok this week.

Started out with $500.00
Week 1 ended with $576.20

$76.20 profit
15.2% profit
9 trades
9 winners
1.7% avg profit per trade

I will be ecstatic if I can keep this up..........and I will keep this up provided I continue trading pull backs within the trend!!

Chalk up another 3.8%

Endured some heat but made a profit and am happy!

I just edited to show all entries and exits.

I'm going to try to hold this position for the swing, hopefully a few months lol.

I scaled in short a total of 12 micro lots, then scaled out of 6 once they became profitable........so I'm now short 6 micro's at an avg price of 1.22515.

Holding any position for more than a few hours is not how I usually trade, but I think the daily chart has a good resistance where I entered my shorts.

I'm off to work with stops in place, willing to risk about an 8 pip loss on 6 micros - will see how this goes.
