first of all we have the pound, this is a solid buy on any pullbacks

im very bearish the yen, but dont wana post a prediction as we may get a good pull back this week. but in the long term yen is a deffo short

coffee is also a buy. a few of these markets i have been holding since last week, so the entrys arnt that great right now but they should still make moves in said direction

good to see someone posting calls;shows you have enough confidence; plus we'll see if you're any good :D

yeh accumulating yen short on a pullback=win

i expect a pullback in the yen to 93-92 then i would be shorting the yen (long usdjpy), should end the week higher but it might trade sideways as needs a bit of a breather.

don't you think it's more of a position trade? i do; it'll go on as long as a yen carry trade normally does...whatever that is

been thinking that if the yen carry trade comes into play why bother with usdjpy? why not go long AUDJPY which needs a pullback at the moment;bigger interest rate differential.

Oops, my bad

thoughts on...

Copper
Euro
30y Bond

...please

:)

covered euro!

copper, long on pull backs but in reality the main move was last week so dont really wana make calls on markets that have done their move!

30yr bond, not a market i would like to make a call on, especially when hung over to holly hell

potentialy, but there is more to the carry trade than just collecting the carry in your brokerage account. aus isnt a big enough economy for the carry trade to really go to work

How good can he be? He doesn't even fit all of the "best trader" qualities :cheesy:

Just kidding of course. I agree with FXTrend240.
Nice calls.

AUDJPY is already uptrending; probably due to the high imports of copper etc, but i would think the carry trade would be a catalyst to this;also if AUD rates get bumped up tomorrow could make matters better;or not, either way imo it's worth a go
