To me TTWO looks like it has tanked. I have never seen a moving average crossover strategy win except in a strong bullish market.

What is your definition of tanked? See the picture below .
This is not a moving average crossover strategy, don't know where you got that idea from . But yeh, it is a trend following approach , so market conditions do have large effect .

That's the thing with stocks though , thousands of markets to trade , some aren't totally tied to the overall market and can trend hard even if the indexes are flat .

Chartsy started this thread Markets are taking a hiding.

If SNPS ends the week below 72.80, I will close it out. Otherwise the rest of the portfolio is holding just fine .

Chartsy started this thread no new trades this week. Some very nice setups occurring in the energy sector but I'm already long two of those (AEP XEL)

Edit: placing a buy limit on LMT at 276.8, stop 269.15

Chartsy started this thread some great moves this week. Some sectors are trending parabolically. The basis of this method is that, under certain market conditions , it's better to buy into momentum rather than trying to time a reversal or pullback which always seems the more comfortable approach .
