I am a chinese living in Shanghai, never living outside the country for longer than one month. I am in my 30s and trade for a living in the last two years. My main trading instruments are Asian stock index futures. Hang Seng, Nikkei, Kospi, Taiwan, etc. My growing curve suggests eventually I have come to grasp an edge or two in day-trading the stock index markets. So now I plan to expand my trading scales. As I read ET and Trade2win posts a lot , I learned maybe Prop trading is an alternative to consider when a person wants to increase his trading size.

I do not trade US or EU markets due to time lap and personally I don't like the idea of stay all night awake. My trade style is day-trading. I want to know if there is any Prop shops operating in China.

Thanks for any light on this

However within a month or so there will be the opportunity to trade Chinese markets. If you require any further info just post a thread on here and i will do my best to reply.

Hi, I'm looking to move from Australia to HK to prop trade Hang Seng and Nikkei Futures. Anybody with any openings, please contact me.

Why do you want to trade in HK?
Are you working in a prop shop in Australia?
The only reason I find to trade in HK is lower tax rates. But I don't think HK has any prop shop, all the prop are hedge funds and abitrageurs. (if I am not wrong). If you are trading outright futures, it's very hard to find someone to back you in HK. Maybe you have to fund yourself.

Hi Nitro5

Well, I would like to travel the world and trade at different locations and see what its like. I was trading HangSeng futures. Where better than to trade at the heart of it all? I'm guessing there will be better connections there. Equities is another option. I also hope to venture into other aspects of trading, like arbs. Do you have the names of those firms you're talking about? Google wasn't helpful at all.

I reside in Hong Kong and have a couple of years trading Asian index futures. I have plans to increase my size so am seeking for a prop shop with capital backing.

If anyone knows of any prop shops in Hong Kong, please shed some light.
