I'm glad Jason got it.

When Gann went off to study the South elevation of Ghiza, he wasn't too far from the Nile.

Hutchinson had been there some time before him and wondered what sort of capacity he needed to factor in, statistically, to make sure nothing flooded over.

My thanks to Benoit for his strangely tangential reference to this and I wondered at the time why he thought he could get away with trying to hide this in plain sight.

everybodys trading pullbacks!

I finally got my hands on High Prob Trading Strats by Robert Miner, and started it this weekend.
Skimmed through bits of it, and guess what? He trades pullbacks! I must be on the right track.

Essentially, the base is some oscillator that gives bullish or bearish on a higher TF, and then you trade the lower TF in the direction of the higher TF. Thats what pullbacks are, arent they?

Anyway, the book will then go onto Price and Time targets, and a simplified Elliot to see whether we are in a trend start or exhaustion. That will certainly be helpful to me.
The only difference is that I have my longer TF represented by a longer term Stochs on the same chart, rather than looking at 2 separate charts. Maybe I should look at it as per Miner.

Thanks to 2be for recommending the book to me. Hopefully, I will post a synopsis on the Rec Reading thread.

NB: If there is a metatrader equivalent of the DTosc, I would like to know, although he suggests any decent momentum indicator will do; its more about ensuring its in synch will the real underlying market, rather than any special setting, although 13 days seemd to be used.

Hi Trendie,
Dtosc is similar to stochastichs, try different settings, AO of Bill Williams can also be used. It all depends how one sets the parameters of a given indicator.
I am pleased you find R.Miner helpful.
