Using high res TV screen instead of monitor?

Hi All,
So I bought TWO Philips-BDM4350UC-00 monitors back in February from Amazon.

https://www.amazon.co.uk/Philips-BDM...ct_top?ie=UTF8

At the time, I was getting a lot of burn in on one monitor so I had it replaced 3 times and eventually had a working set. These monitors seemed to be pretty good and running at 3840X2160. Scroll forward to October and I started getting permanent white patches forming on both the screens. I am in the process of returning these to Amazon but now need to replace these monitors with some other solution.
I was wondering what people thought about replacing these monitors with two high resolution TV's such as:

https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B06XW413VJ?ref=emc_b_5_t

https://www.amazon.co.uk/Sony-KD49XE.../dp/B06X3WP1NK

https://www.amazon.co.uk/Panasonic-T.../dp/B06X1J276C

https://www.amazon.co.uk/Samsung-UE5.../dp/B071156HCN

Opinions please?

Thank you,

iq

Get some apple monitors. I am using a 30 inch since it came out (maybe 10 years ago?) on a PC and no problems. I use it at desktop distance and use minimal back light strength. I expect it to be good forever.

I did think about getting something bigger like those you mentioned. Now I won't.

Thanks for your reply. I agree Apple products are good and do last. I think I was just unlucky with that particular monitor model. Lots of people seem to have problems with it.

Anyway, I'm looking for larger monitor replacements and was just wondering if people are actually using modern TV's which seem to have just as good performance as monitors these days.

Consider when you are using hi res TVs , ( I assume HDMI ) that you are tasking the computer's resource just for nice graphics. This is great for interactive gaming but not necessary for focussed charting. Just a thought from someone in the industry for 25 years.
