Anyone know of a computer hardware store in or near London with a good display of medium to high end monitors. I'd like to see before I buy some so I'm not looking for online shops. PC world is complete a waste of time, but there must be somewhere surely....?

Surely you just do the Tottenham Court road 'thing'?

an oft overlooked resource near TCR is Morgans (new oxford street I think, but close enough). Kinda sell last year's gear etc. Some bargaisn to be had occasionally. Plus TCR you can haggle. Try doing that in PC world.

Thanks for the tip. I'll have a look there.

Have a clear idea of what you want BEFORE going to Totty Rd or you'll get blown away by all the choice.
Channel 5 gadget show may have done a survey - worth checking

yeah why not do an online best monitor review thingy ? Thats what I tend to do with gadgets, got a TV for the world cup, Sony job 46 inch ,internet enabled, bbci viewer built in n all that, ranged from price wise £899-1500 . Free delivery n all for 899 .
And on that topic..

Those 3 d tv's , Samsung already put out warnings about some folks predisposed ,might get strokes and fits come on after prolonged use, er, so avoid 3 D tv for now i think.

:)
