Whilst there are literally 100's of stocks currently on the floor and my Watchlist stands at 75 there are several which stand out fundamentally - here are two:-

Pressac (PRSC)

Since positive comments back in April this company appears to have done nothing wrong.
Whilst analysts are predicting new sales in the millions of mobile phones next year it is unlikely to hear of a profit warning.

Commments:- (10/04/00) BUY specialist electronic components maker Pressac - 251 - good figures to lead to broker upgrades. Sales went from nothing to £30mln for the year ended Nov 99 - this week expected to announce £50mln order book. Trades on P/E of less than 14.
(17/04/00) - ...has found instant success providing keypads to Nokia, Ericsson and Motorola with 10% of the market. Order book has doubled to £55mln in 6 months. Chief Exec says its superior technology should win greater market share and nvesting £20mln over 3 years on dedicated plant. Already made £2.9mln in 6 months to Jan 00 on Sales up 40% to £20.3mln. Automotive business doing well - pre tax profits up 30% with strong 2nd half expected - Cheap.

Profits have continued to grow but currency exchange has been a small problem.

Price of 150 shows a 50% retracement in the last 9 months. My info provides a P/E of just 8.5 and barring bad news this share is CHEAP.

ITE GROUP (ITE)

Global organiser of Exhibitions and Conferences. Organises 325 exhibitions in 25 different countries. Made no fewer than 15 acquisitions this last year and still making a profit. Cash of £20mln with Sales booked for 2000/1 = £27.4mln (against £19mln - 1999)
With a P/E of below 18 ( some say 12 ) offers a 30% discount against Informa. Some broker value estimates at 200 minimum.
There were some takeover speculations back in July but didn't really affect price and company said that it was based on a price of less than 100 per share.

Currently at 55p to buy - on the floor!!

These are my personal opinions and NOT investment advice - please DYOR.

Good Luck

While I agree with everything Cookie has said, in my opinion and based solely on the charts, both Pressac and ITE haven't formed a bottom yet.

So no matter how good they are fundamentally, it may be just a tad too early to jump in.

Pressac seems to have lots of non confirmation in the indicators, nontheless I still see it down.
ITE looks like a no hoper, with support at 51, and if that fails then 46.
Definitely not a time to go into ITE, but Pressac could spring a suprise.....

My reading of these two confirms Martin's analysis, and accordingly they are on my watch list, cos if the fundamentals are right, then its a question of timing any buying opportunity.

Hi Cookie,

I like your fundemental analyses, very thorouh...just wanted to add that few directors bought PRSC shares on November 27th..at 168 I think..
Chartwise I agree with others that there are no sings of a reversal yet...one should at least wait for a bottom to be formed I'd say..

Cheers..
