Newbie help on how to do this with SB?

Hey

I was playing with a demo account for a while, making good money and decided to take the plunge to do it for real...

However, i have lost and lost, and lost again...

I have found that none of my bets carry onto the next day, which they did on the demo account...

I used to bet say £1 per point that the FTSE for example would go up, and i knew it would fall a little more, but then over the next few days rise more than the loss...

With the platoform i am using (IGINDEX), at the end of each trading day it closes my possitions, which the demo platform i was using (etrade) never did...

What am i doing wrong? any ideas on how to place long term bets rather than day ones?

Any help on a good SB platform too? IGINDEX was easy to set up, and good for a while, but now its Minimum £2 per point, i am not so happy, i would rather be betting 50p or even less sometimes...

Thanks

Mine is 50p minimum per point, but I'm not going to advertise them as it's Sunday and the mods are lurking , Honestly, I have nothing against them, but have no experience of others with which compare , so you will need to read posts. These SB firms have those who like them and those who hate them.

Mine has rolling bets and futures. The roller closes you out at the day's close and opens you again at next day's opening and includes the stop that you had previously. Current margin for £1 = £100, spread 2 points. If you use the future, the spread and margin will be more.

HTH,
