Let's assume that she is genuine and is a successful spreadbetter. Given that the average successful trader takes 6 months to 2 years to profit and that the average trader is 5% of the people who try trading, how long will she continue to give you her time for and for how many hours per week? Assuming you are one of the 5% and take 2 years, that's 104 weeks. I suppose if she dedicates an hour a week, that's just under £20 a week (ie £20 per hour) so a good rate.

I attended hastings course
I paid £1000 for a trading course with Roxi.If she does know how to trade,she certainly did not make it clear and understandable for me.We used IG index to trade,and when the resistance/support lines were broke you entered the trade.However,when trading live and the moving average lines did break the barrier,but then recede,leaving you with a loss.If you know of anybody who understands what she teaches I would love to speak to them.
I just did not get what she was saying and when you asked a question she would just ramble leaving you more confused

My advice would be stay clear of Roxanne Cross.She mabe a good trader herself,but shed is totally incapeable of explaining anything.
Has anyone undertaken training from this lady?? Roxi charges £2000 and says she will not leave u until u start to make money...she teaches spread betting.

At least you will get your money back if you dont think its for you, so I dont see any problem. No good for me anyway as the seminar is in london. thats a good cost getting there from up north.

Why pay anyone £2000 or any amount for training when you can get better advice/training/information free on boards like this and forex factory etc. There are countless free ebooks and manuals available, there are free charting programmes, demo accounts etc. And there are a host of good seasoned traders and many ex professionals around willing to help with advice etc.
The £2000 could then be used as the first real foray into live trading ( IG and ODL you can trade FX down to 50p a point, FTSE with no spread on the ODL beginners account). Even if the £2000 account was blown this would be a far better education than any self proclaimed expert can provide.
So before considering spending any amount on a training course do some research, the information that will be learned on any course is all out there and it is free. Also remember that a training course can only teach the basics of any system/method, they cannot teach the individual how to perform in live trading only the individual can find that out for themselves unless they are a robot.

I just got an email from Cannonbury too (Nick Leight) - and was looking for info. on Roxy before making a decision (she was Roxy Cross, but it could be that she's married since being a Hart?). I came across this site and am glad I did. The "discounted" price is now over £2,500 (with VAT) for the London course, with 6 months backup. I have to say from the hype it sounds great (but doesn't it always!). Has anyone actually had a good experience of using her method?

if you did not understand the training, you could have asked lots of questions. Giving someone negative comment in the forum is not justified until you are prepared to put time and effort in learning. Trading is an education. One does not become a doctor by watching a surgeon operate, you have to put time and effort to learn. First ask yourself how long did you spend practicing? probably never bothered. It shows you are interested in quick money out of the market. Roxi is patient and caring and at the time you attended, she was only charging £1,000.00, now the cost is £2500 and going to rise. When you started, mentoring was for 1 year. How many times in a year did you contact Roxi and how many times did she fail to support you? If you had put in the effort, you would not be giving negative comments today. Canonbury saw the potential in Roxi's training program and have teamed up. The group is small and training last 6 months. Those of you who want to learn, and are seriously interested, then do so. Otherwise, do not pass on negative comments unless you are justified otherwise it would be a serrious cause for libel. If you spend 6 months religiously undergoing Roxi's training program DAILY and if you still do not make money, then you a genuine reason for complaint. In 6 months, you will definitely know if it is Roxi who has failed to train you or the problem is your own psychological temperament. Even God cannot help you there. no way would i pay 2k for advice on spread betting, this 6 moths to 2 year thing i keep hearing about must be a myth, i started trading 2 weeks ago, prior to that all i did was research the markets and find out were i can get the best cheapest info, 2 weeks ago i started with £150 on capital spreads and beting on the ftse 100 i now have 550 which i am well happy with, im usuing that money as capital to carry on.
I went to see her for training. What a rip off. Ask her for a trading statement or better still ask her for several. What she teaches is free on the internet and very basic. I mean very basis. BE WARNED !!!!!! These people are only interested in one thing and thats your fee. I spent some years in searching for a system. Theres only one and thats yourself. I decided in a proper education in trading. Its hard work and needs time. Please dont buy these rubbish systems unless they have evidance over a long period. Come on guys who wants to spend £2000 on basic support and resistance. Nothing wrong with those methods but they are free. Maybe start with with something like babypips.com and get a good grounding FOR NOTHING. What a bloody cheek she has! Honestly it makes me sick. If you have to buy one of these rubbish systems just ask the question! How much do you make and over how long have you done it for? Show me your genuinne trading statements! Wander how many you will get. Its no wonder that the market takes 95% of the money from unexperienced traders. I am very unexperienced but learning the correct way. I may make it or i may not but i will certainly never spend good money on these rip off merchants!!!!!!!!! As a matter of interest if anyone wants a blow by blow account of Roxanne Crosses training as taught to me then just contact me. Oh! just to finish she told me she never has a losing trade ever. What a joke!!!! I could tell you so much more.......And its the truth. I think her latest add states give me 8 hours and i will show you how to spread bet £100 into £5,600 in 10 weeks regardless of market conditions. Why specifically £5,600. I dont belive the market can offer exact sums over a given period. Someone said that negative posts could be libel. What about consumer protection. Just offering part of my own terrible experience with this course.

I started with £100 on the 17th of Feb. I've made 15 (binary) trades now and my bank is £479 and that is despite losing £117 yesterday - my first losing trade! It's all about managing your bank (which I've learnt to do from betting on horse racing) and your stops, which I'm learning from losing money - bale out early and live to fight another day. I do think you need some help to succeed enough to retire and perhaps Daren has the right idea. Good luck to all of you!
