I decided to start with real money after playing around with demo for a while. I have managed to turn £1k into £16k over many trades (with real money). I have opened and closed many trades in that time, both longs and shorts, n real bias, so I don't think it's just luck. I have devised a system which enables me to win very often, and the amount won on winning trades against losing ones is very random. I know there are many people with a good win-loss ratio out there, but they generally take profits too quickly and let losing trades run somewhat, therefore actually have a negative balance on initial deposit. Luckily, I don't suffer from this problem.

I am very hopeful I will be able to sustain current levels of profitability. I could have been more aggressive and try to grow the account even quicker, but I prefer to keep risks to a minimum. Its better to grow the account slowly but surely, than putting at risk a good chunk of the profits that have already built up.

It's not easy and it takes a lot of dedication and hard work watching price action during the day, and a lot of research time in the evenings in preparation for next day's trading. But the key for me anyway is that I actually love it. It almost feels like free money because you don't have strict hours (you don't have to trade everyday) and of course, no boss at work to give you a routine to keep to.

And no, I am not trying sell any systems or anything of the sort for those of you who will no doubt doubt this. I just thought I would share my bit of success with you guys. Thanks

What do you trade and how? and/or etc misc details you don't mind sharing. No point in sharing, if all you say is i turned X amount into XX amount.

If you have turned £1k ino £16k in 6 month time you have been extremely lucky. No risk money management in place that is for sure. It is of course not sustainable in the long run, despite of what kind of planning, system or strategy you use. If you keep up with up that percentage of risk level it will probably soon be all gone.

What's your strategy to develop your earning level? Within a few months you raise up your income into a high position. Fantastic!

Yes I remember when I started of trading over 20 years ago, I had huge winnings on stock options, little did I know at the time what was in store.:)

Yes possible, but the timeframe little bit short also probably the number of trials.:)

I made 25K in the first 3 months of trading. Getting cocky and trading way to big. Then came the market reversal, conditions changed and I gave it all back plus a bit more.

Yes this is usually the initial story with those who have been around for a long time. The others, they just vansish after being hit hard taking way too much risk.
