Results for November, 7:00, 6:30, 6:00 NY start times, settings 30-30-20-10 = -130 pips

First week in Nov. same settings and start times: = +70 pips
Remember NY time is now 5 hours later than...

folks, there are 2 other start times I've been testing and I am now trading live because they are productive.
6:00 NY and 6:30 NY are doing as well as 7:00 NY (11:00 GMT.)
I'm trading all 3 now...

Actually, trading at 7:00 NY (11:00 GMT) but now with 30-30-20-10 settings:
last week had 4 TPs, 1 BE for 130 pips ! :)
so, a great start for October.

actually I did change my settings a little :
still trading at 7:00 NY (11:00 GMT) but now with 30-30-20-10 settings.
today was a buy trade, TP=30 pips..:)

September finished -25 pips for me this month.

August was not bad, it created 150 pips for me with these settings.
September so far is not good , I have -30 pips so far this month,...

yes, if your broker is GMT+3 then 7:00 NY = 14:00 broker time (on FMT)
simply 7:00 +4 GMT +3 broker offset = 14:00

It looks to me like he is stating the Alpari broker times ??
Mine are actual NY. and GMT. times.
BTW: I'm now only using the 7:00 NY start time for FMT. (it's the best time, IMO)

LOL... so I reduce the TP to 15 and the market easily hits the old TP of 22 and 30 on first 2 trades this morning...go figure !

backtesting means nothing with FMT, do not trust your settings with BT !!
with FMT you need to trade very recent market conditions, that's why I change my settings about every 3 months,...

my spread is 1 or less on GU with Pepperstone ECN, NY servers.
if you are using BE=18, why not set BE+ =5 so you get some extra pips sometimes ?
I find that BE=12 is much safer in this market...

That won't work for long, the FMT indicators get it right much more than wrong, but if you set TP too high you may not hit it often enough to be profitable. It's a very slippery slope to work on.
