Daxjockey I forgot to mention that when I collect tick volume data, its for a basket of
currencies... So if I was looking at the Eur/Usd pair, I would collect tick volume for a basket
of eur...

Daxjockey its GTIS forex data/esignal, plus advfn also provide this data.

I dont know if an average person can gain access to ECN data
like hotspot/EBS as mentioned in the article?

I assume your into chart patterns and look for the double top/bottom patterns and use macd to spot...

Daxjockey tick volume (price updates) has much value, but its not perfect..

see attached charts, it shows tick volume for the eur/usd on the 6th
and 7th of june..

I tend to plot these graphs...

you could try a 30 day trial of market delta with infinity futures as your datafeed (30 day trial) ..

that way you can collect tick data using market delta for the ftse futures

WT you could also try ninjatrader with a zenfire feeds which gives you
30 days free aceess to real time data for futures & commodities. There's nothing stopping
you signing up another 30 days free...

are you looking at the cash or futures indicies for buy/sell volume?
also there different kinds of buy/sell volume data like bid/ask volume,
uptick/downtick volume and advance/decline volume.

Thanks for all that info about the different orders. I trade mostly the sp500 and ftse 100
future indices. Bid/ask volume is helpful for the sp500, but not for ftse.
