Everyone agrees thinking for themselves and thinking in general is vital, so if 2 members believe that writers have an edge, so be it. Neither side is going to change its mind so get over it.
Leaving your past experiences behind you, based on the argument in question, do you think that the re-instatement of this thread will be of benefit to the readers of the Vanilla thread, and if you like, you can expand on your answer, but the choice is yours, entirely.

As I said, stop moderating this stuff to death. All it accomplishes is to attract further attention. If the thread generates so many reports, close it or move it to the Foyer.

It depends on the actual purpose of Socrates thread. If it is to show he can call trade after trade due to his skill and the abilities behind that, then yes. If the point of the thread is to prove that any person can be more successful based purely on writing rather than buying, no.

The latter should be completely void of any other skill than the ability to write, newbie or expert, yet the inclusion of spiritual ability suggest there is more to the edge than merely having a brokerage account.

In expansion to my previous post, why do you care so much if the members of T2W don't agree. surely for you and Socrates that is only in your favour and therefore should be enjoyed every time you close out another profit?

OTOH, it's not possible to demonstrate any ability to "call trade after trade" on a message board, so the avowed purpose of the thread is largely irrelevant. If people want to read it, fine. If they don't, also fine. Given that CY and bertie create the turmoil in the first place, they can hardly squawk when it turns against them. Let them deal with the consequences of their actions without moderating it at all.
