Hi there,
I'm a stock scalper in the Italy market.
In the last time, where is not possible to short stocks, I concentrate me in the future.

I use only the book but it is not possible with the future.

A little but important difference is the book level.
In the Italy market I can have a bigger view (20 level), for the futures 10 or 5 level

I have a question:
I try to scalp e-mini Sp 500 with the book and the chart Time Frame 1 min, it is not so simply to undestand what the specialist or market mover doing

Someone use this trading strategy?
Can you suggest me some books about scalping with TF 1 minute or tick bu tick?

Thanks to all

It is not a good idea to scalp ES on 1min timeframe as i think. DAX is a good for scalping 1/2/3/5 mins charts.

Hi there, I must give more information to be better transparent and clear.
The correct translation of the term "book" is "market depth"

I mean that I use, for my strategies, only the market depth.
Can I find anywhere some books?
How to read at best the market depth?

Hi there, I follow your suggest and put a chart and the market depth of dax in my desktop.
In my trading plan I have the market depth as the most important instrument. I need it to understand most of the moviment during the day, then I use the tape and then the chart.
I will explain that is difficulty to scalp dax without understand what happen in the market depth.
A difference between EUSTOXX and DAX futures is that: the number of the lots in the market depth of the dax don't give me any information.

It could be that the most people use the dax futures without reading the market depth. They use only the tape and chart.
This is my opinion.

Unfortunately my strategies don't works for the dax. I should modify some things...

Thanks
Alessio

I enjoy scalping the Ftse which seems to work really really well. Wondering if anyone else trades the ftse?

Have been trading it for 3 years along with other things but have really focused on it over the past year as it moves really well.

If I can make £100 per day as the minimum, then that will allow me to pay all my monthly bills. If anyone else is trading the ftse, would like to hear how and what they do.

I have a few ideas and am working on a system that seems to be doing well enough I suppose but always nice to hear from other ftse traders

Alex
