TA scanning

Hi everyone


I am trying to find which software is better for TA scanning Metastock or AIQ.

I want to do some TA scans ( from Tony Oz's book).


Most of these scans are based on price (High of day), volume, Bollinger band etc.

for example one of the scan is find all share where price is making new 52 week high with volume above 20 day volume average .

Any views please.

I guess the answer is - whichever you are happiest using. There's a weasel answer if you are looking for one!!

Personally I use Metastock and regularly do scans similar to the one's you suggest. Very easy with Metastock. However I've never used AIQ so cannot comment.

I have a feeling that this has been discussed before and that there are some archives on this site - except i can never find them!
