or there any broker's offering spot oil trading like spot forex or is this the same as spreadbetting, can you give me brokers name that offer spot oil trading

I am trading spot crude oil with stifx

Can spreadbet it with someone like CMC I think

it cant be spot oil i dont think.. that would involve the storage of barrels of oil. Maybe its the future?

I don't know about the storage of barrels, but cmc only do forward contracts not spot/cash price.

Yup it's futures for pretty much everything oil based I believe.

If you want to trade spot oil - then maybe a trip to your local esso?

STIFX allows trading in SPOT Brent Crude oil.
Check with them.

This is what they have emailed me regarding SPOT Crude Oil

Basis : Front month ICE Brent crude Oil
Contract Size : 250 bbls
Tick Size : $0.01
Min Tick Value : $2.50
Rollover Date : Working day prior to the settlement of ICE front month futures contract
Rollover Value : Settlement on the above date of the differential (spread) of the first two ICE months

Eg Customer Long 1,000 bbls $60.00
Front Month Settlement $62.00
Second Month Settlement $63.00

Are you sure it is spot?

Most 'front months' are forward contracts.
