Fading the opening gap

Greetings

I would be interestred to hear from anybody who is sucessfully fading the opening gap using LSE stocks.

In particular what profit taking stop is used? There seems to be 2 schools of thought -either a trailing stop or an order to exit when the gap is filled and leave it for the day.

Any views are much appreciated.

Re: Fading the opening gap

hi jim, I have been watching the FTSE Futures opening gap for the last couple of weeks but it doesn't seem to be profitable. Have you had any luck working out a strategy ?
