Sometimes even more than it hates Washington's interference, "the market hates uncertainty." So says Richard Sparks, senior equity analyst at Schaeffer's Investment Research. sparks tells Andrew O'Day "the fact that we do have a [health reform] resolution and there's less uncertainty, it's being viewed as a positive for those stocks." To gauge probability of health reform's passage, Sparks cites the British Intrade prediction market, which today prices in an 80 percent chance reform will pass.
