Morning Stock Talk - Stone: A little sideways not all bad
With a couple days of weakness on Wall Street, many are asking whether the recent market surge has been the start of a new bull market, or just a bear market bounce? That's "impossible to tell" at this point according to Bill Stone, the chief investment strategist at PNC Wealth Management. But he tells Steve Potisk, that with stocks up "almost 40 percent off the intra-day lows, they've at least earned a breather." He says too that with a "little bit of a data vacuum," investors are waiting for more guidance. Stone's expectations are for "decent" returns ahead, but after what investors have been through the past several months, "a little sideways wouldn't be all bad."
