Morning Stock Talk - Carlson: The market is ready to believe again

"There is a lot of money on the sidelines that come back if investors become more convinced that this is going to be more than a two or three day rally." Chuck Carlson, CEO of Horizon Investment Services, tells Andrew O'Day "if investors continue to see the market trading flat, slightly lower or slightly higher, you may see strength at the end of the day." As for the growing list of companies saying they don't need more government money, Carlson recommends caution. "It's not like we haven't heard this before, then two months later they're back with their hat in their hands."
