Morning Stock Talk - Johnson: Too late to sell, too early to buy
November should be better on Wall Street than what we saw in October. Hugh Johnson, the chairman of Johnson Illington Advisors says last month we saw a lot of "characteristics of a stock market bottom." He tells Steve Potisk there "was a lot of selling that was almost panic like, widespread pessimism, stocks at levels that were arguably undervalued." He says the view that it's too late to sell, but too early to buy summarizes where he is at right now. Johnson says we probably "have seen the worst of the bear market," but he doesn't think,"we're ready to start a bull market until we see more positive signs on the outcome for the economy."
