Interesting. I quite fancy giving that a try myself next year. Just got to come up with a suitable algorithm!

Confirms my long held belief that eastern european/russian brains are the best at programming/logic/maths and chess :-)) Just a pity that collectively they can't improve their own lot. Hopefully that will change with the painstakingly slow demise of communism. |

I'm unconvinced. Given the large number of EAs out there, some are bound to be very successful but could fail dismally next year. It's just luck and a random programming method could produce big winners at any specific time. Why assume that a big winner will make a profit next time? |
