Hi,

I am keen to meet up with some fellow traders who are keen to discuss tactics, war stories etc. I have been active for about 6 months with a pretty good track record thus far. Mainly trading Commods, FX and Eqs. I reside in Putney and would like to meet up once a month with anyone from the SW postcode.

Cheers Greg

Good stuff...how does next week work for you (and any others who may be interested)?

have to be a weekend as i trade forex... 5th and 6th July currently empty. Could do lunch... dunno who's active on t2w and in the area, though.

Er, no, thanks!

Over-priced, no free parking, too many pretentious people. Richmond Borough are Car-Hating Nazis. And that is fact.

I can't make the 5th, but hopefully the next one you do I should be able to come along to.

Sorry to hear that SN, as you sound like you are an experienced trader. Given I am recently ex Chelsea, I fear I may fall into the category of one of those 'people' ;-). Anyway, let me know where is good for you, as I am happy to buy you a beer some place that suits..

M2OJ - I am pretty relaxed about when, so if you and anyone else want's to catch-up one night during the week, just let me know...I am on paternity leave from tomorow for a couple of weeks, thus should able to meet up relatively early in the evenings (post the obvious duties).

Really just looking to exchange experiences. I am relatively short trading experience, but have an IB background, currently as a COO, previously as a global head of prodt mgmt, across FI, Eqs and FX, so have should have something to add.

Cheers

Greg

It was largely tongue-in-cheek. I have no problems with the people; just the council's anti-car policy. I know it's a bit out of your way but how about the Shy Horse in Chessington? It's a nice country-ish pub.

Hi Greg, I'm away next week, but any evening the week beginning the 7th is fine for me. Richmond near the station works well.

Cheers,
David

A lunchtime? If we're lucky, it'll be sunny so we can eat outside. Let's see what everyone else says.

Right - so the proposal for the first monthly SW London catch-up is at the Shy Horse in Chessington, Saturday July 5 @ midday sharp. All welcome...any other interest?

Greg

Cool. I will be in a dodgy hatchback because my Lamborghini's in for servicing but don't let that fool you into thinking I am not a mega-successful trader. I will be coming from my 15 bedroom mansion in the Surrey Hills*.

*-is there a Surrey Hills? It sounded posh. :D

I have no idea why I posted this. Personal amusement, I guess.
