Could anybody share this please?
I know that it was a trading day, yet my data for that day is exactly the same as 31st
I have
1402.43 open
1426.74 High
1398.11 Low
1426.19 Close

Like I say I have these the same for both 31st Dec '12 and 1st Jan '13
If somebody could point me in the right direction please as its throwing out my charts (n)
Thanks

market was close on that day, that is why your have December 31st numbers. S&P 500 (^SPX) was not traded. f you are looking at futures market, that's another story.

Thanks Vicorka, but this is what I dont quite understand.
Of course this was new years day, and I would have consumed quite large amounts of alcohol, but on that day I remember that my software had recorded some movement on that day..now its not there. My charts now look different with a buy signal that has now gone. Recently I changed the holiday calender, and I can only imagine thats the reason..of course this could just be a lesson in not to overindulge.
But I wouldnt have made a mental note to myself not to forget the next time...the twilight zone :(
